Important:

If you still haven’t sent us your flight details to arrange your airport transfer,  please do it HERE.

Please send a copy of your insurance to insurance@outerdetours.com

Insurance must cover illness, rescue, injury and repatriation while cycling in the destination country.

We recommend insurance companies like HeyMondo and EuropAssistance

Get ready:

It’s a demanding route with long days on the saddle and steep climbs.

To better enjoy the experience, we recommend riding your bike regularly during the weeks before this trip.

You can always ride at your pace, take shortcuts and ask for help from the support van.

Pack:

Pack your bike in a soft bike box like EVOC or PRO, we will ship the empty box from the first to the last hotel.

If you arrive with a cardboard box, ask us to arrange a new cardboard box at the end of the trip.

For each participant, we will transfer one bag of max 20kg from one hotel to the next one.

Let’s meet:

The transfer company will be waiting for you at the airport arrival hall and drive you to the hotel.

We will meet at 2 pm in the hall.

After a short introduction, we will go for an afternoon ride.

It you arrive later, our staff will be at the hotel to welcome participants all afternoon long.

Bike:

Bring your bike to a trusted bike shop for a general inspection and tune-up.

Tires and brake pads must be in nearly new condition.

Choose a comfortable tire width (we recommend 30mm) and low gearing (we recommend a 34t smaller chainring)

Cycling Shoes:

You will have to walk in and out of ferries.

Choose cycling shoes you can walk with and feel comfortable out of the bike.

Mtb pedals and gravel shoes are good trade between power transfer and comfort.

Clothing:

2 sets of bib shorts and jersey (we can wash a set while you use the fresh one)

Rain jacket, mid layer, gloves, leg warmers, shoe covers.

Tools and spares:

Multi-tool, tubeless repair kit, inner tube, spare chain link, spare braking pad.

Electronics:

Front and rear lights, GPS device, power bank, wall charger and cables.
